An Australian actress of South Asian heritage, Shabana hails from Adelaide where she graduated from St Aloysius College and earned a Bachelor of Arts and Media from Adelaide University. However, she didn’t try her hand at acting until her early 20s, making her screen debut in 2018. She appeared in a few short films and guested on shows like The Letdown (2019) and Why Are You Like This (2021), then nabbing recurring roles in the comedy series Metro Sexual (2019-2021) and In Limbo (2023). Shabana’s biggest film role came in 2023 when she starred in the indie thriller Birdeater, which also marked her nudecomer debut. She goes topless for the first time on screen delivering some brief but beautiful boobage.
