Review

Scenes of a Sexual Nature (2006) is a comedy about sex, love, and everything in between. This delicious comedy from director Ed Blum brings us the promise of scenes of a sexual nature, but to be honest there is really only one such scene for those who favor skin. The story takes place in one afternoon in London - specifically Hampstead Heath - as seven different couples are examined. Each couple is different with different needs, wants, classes, and stages in their life together as a couple. That's what makes this movie so fascinating. Enjoy these couples getting along, fighting, flirting, and more. The only scene we get that is close to being skintastic features Eglantine Rembauville-Nicolle who plays the sultry Sophie. She enjoys her afternoon in the park by laying on her back on the grass while wearing the teeniest mini dress. Her light dress looks like it could simply blow off of her body. She lays back reading and flirtatiously, seemingly mindlessly, plays with the hem of her dress until she brings it up. She lifts it to show off her white underwear. This golden-skinned hottie lets the sunshine on her shapely legs. She sits up and seductively looks over at the person viewing her. Well, that may as well be us. Consider us seduced, Eglantine! We pray for a sequel so that Eglantine can give us yet another scene of a sexual nature. Maybe she will even give us a scene of a SEXIER nature? Hey, we can wish!
