Samantha! (2018-2019)

Debuting in 2018 and lasting just two seasons, Samantha! is a Netflix original comedy from Brazil, about a former child star desperate to get another hit of that sweet, sweet taste of fame. Emanuelle Araujo stars as Samantha Alencar, a now middle aged single mom who used to be a child star back in the eighties with her own hugely successful sitcom named after her, and all sorts of the perks that came with being a household name. But that was a long time ago, back before she married the famous soccer player Dodoi (Douglas Silva), only to see him put two babies in her belly before getting shipped off to jail. Refusing to accept life as a nobody despite decades of irrelevance, now Samantha is trying to stage a comeback and has all sorts of crazy schemes planned out, all of which are designed to get Samantha back in the spotlight. Obviously, Mr. Skin was hoping Sam would opt to take the tried and true "accidentally" released sex tape path to getting her name back out there again, but unfortunately Emanuelle never shows any skin. Instead, the lovely sometimes blonde, sometimes redheaded Lorena Comparato deserves some spotlight when she stands up from behind naked in the bathtub. The suds strategically cover her naughty bits, but we were hoping they'd slide away in the future! Luckily, in another episode she's auditioning for a role in a straight jacket that she whips off to reveal she's naked underneath. That handbra can't cover everything, though! Whether a Mickey Mouse Clubber or a Disney Kid, we're always on the lookout for a teen star to do some showing after they're done growing. What a shame Samantha! didn't resort to making adult films as a failed adult actress!
