When your real life grandpa played Pa on NBC’s G-rated (and Emmy Award-winning) family series Little House on the Prairie (1974-1982), it’s unlikely you’re going to flash a lot of flesh in films, even if you’re built like a brick house. Such is the case for ravishing actress Rachel Matthews. Born in Los Angeles to psychologist Leslie Landon Matthews (former actress and daughter of actor, director, writer, and producer Michael Landon), the well-connected cutie was inspired to act from, of all things, watching Shirley Temple movies. After training at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Rachel officially entered the film industry. By 2019, she could be seen in the critically-acclaimed film Ms. White Light and heard in the animated hit Frozen II. The busy babe also made an impression on the small screen in 2019 when she played Margot / Magpie on The CW superhero show Batwoman and Fiona on the teen streaming series Looking for Alaska. Yet, here at Skin Central, we love the appealing ingénue’s film debut in the sorority house slasher parody Happy Death Day (2017). Directed by her uncle Christopher Landon, the humorous horror flick features Jessica Rothe, Israel Broussard, Ruby Modine, Laura Clifton, and Rachel sporting a skintight sports bra! At the risk of repeating herself, the sexy brunette touted her killer cleavage in the film’s sequel Happy Death Day 2U (2019). Hopefully, if the franchise churns out a Happy Death Day 3, we’ll finally get to see a lot more of Ms. Matthews!
