Paula (2017)

Paula (played by Denise Gough) is a chemistry teacher who hasn't been making the greatest choices ever. She's been having an affair with the married PE teacher at her school and lives in a house with a rat problem. She decides to fix both in one fell swoop though, breaking up with the gym teacher and hiring pest control to clear everything out of her basement. And her luck seems great when one of the pest control guys turns out to be a great looking guy named Tom! They sleep together immediately and all seems well, until we learn that James is a murderous psychopath. That's another bummer. The three-part series on BBC2 has only showed Denise's pokies through her white tank top, but they're well worth the watch!
