Neel Rønholt is from Denmark, like Hamlet, but she’s not rotten. Neel has been involved in the movie business since the turn of the new millennium when she made her debut in Anja & Viktor (2001), a romantic comedy about high school sweethearts whose love is tested with maturity. That was only a minor role, and those small parts were fast coming in film shorts and TV shows for the nest few years. But then came the German drama After the Wedding (2006). It's a Mads Mikkelsen led mystery flick about the manager of an orphanage in India who is sent to Copenhagen, where he discovers a life-altering family secret. Now, Neel isn’t a lead, it’s another bit part, but lucky for us it's a tit part. Yes, unlike the others it’s her breast role, as in her boobs are seen in a lovemaking scene as she rails some lucky dude until a woman hiding in the closet makes herself known and the two have to stop. Apparently the line through the o in Rønholt means no orgasms. Neel got her first starring role in the ghost movie about a haunted hotel room Kollegeit (2007) also known as Room 205. That one wasn't Danish enough, so she moved on to the unrelated to the MCU film A Viking Saga: Son of Thor (2008), but soon found herself specializing in television work. Neel was Eva Lauersen in the Danish murder thriller Forbrydelsen, Nille in the Christmas show about an elf who is secretly part human Tinkas juleeventyr, played herself in the meta-comedy about aging actresses struggling to get work Nipskanalen (here's a hint ladies, show the nips and the roles will be yours!) Birgit Lund in the 1950's set Danish hospital drama Sygeplejeskolen and most recently as Regitze in the orchestra comedy Orkestret. Still, one small nude role nearly two decades ago isn't enough. Some casting director needs to orchestrate a scene where Miss Rønholt struts her stuff. We're kneeling on our hands and knees praying for more looks at Neel Rønholt!
