Monarch (2022)

Country music intrigue is the order of the day on the hit Fox series Monarch, which debuted in the Fall of 2022. Country music legend Trace Adkins and Hollywood legend Susan Sarandon co-star as Albie and Dottie Roman, the reigning king and queen of country music whose squeaky clean public image belies a much more sinister private image in which they are willing to do just about anything to stay on top. However, when a scandal threatens to tear their empire apart, their eldest daughter Nicky (Anna Friel) takes up the mantle of her destiny and proves to be even more ruthless than her parents. With the help of her sister Gigi (Beth Ditto) and brother Paul (Joshua Sasse), Nicky intends to make sure their family empire reigns for at least one more generation. Since this is a network TV show, you can't expect much in the way of skin, though Anna Friel gives some great cleavage and Beth Ditto shares a sapphic smooch with co-star Meagan Holder in the debut episode!
