But be careful because this dish is hot! Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, The Second City cutie is second to none when it comes to acting. As a youth, she performed in church programs and community theater, before making her TV debut on the court show Arrest & Trial (2000). Milauna found commercial stints while attending the University of Illinois at Chicago. By 2002, the brainy beauty headed west, where she enrolled in UCLA. Ms. Jackson’s Los Angeles digs helped her land gigs. As such, she appeared in Spike Lee’s pilot Da Brick (2011) on HBO. A year later, Milauna scored a recurring role on the comedy series Squad 85 (2012). The small screen starlet then played Kristin Shafe on NBC’s crime drama Aquarius (2015-2016) and A.D.A. Rene Atwood on ABC’s legal thriller How to Get Away with Murder (2016-2017). No doubt these shows prepared the arresting ingénue for NBC’s police procedural Chicago P.D. (2018).
