A theatre girl at heart, Mara Davi is an experienced Broadway actress, dancer, and singer—which led her to her first role on screen, playing A Chorus Line dancer in the film Meet Dave (2008) with Eddie Murphy and Elizabeth Banks—appropriate, since Mara actually did appear on stage in the Broadway show A Chorus Line. Busy turning heads and busting out lyrics and tap routines in the theatre, it wasn’t until 2011 when the red-headed hottie would take another go at camera work, this time as Stephanie in Musical Chairs, followed by the part of Mika in Garry Marshall’s New Year’s Eve (2018)—her bit was opposite Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays her seamstress for a (surprise!) Broadway show. Having conquered the stage and the big screen, Mara’s obvious next choice was television, and she nabbed a spot as Bianca Sanfino in multiple episodes of the primetime police drama Blue Bloods in 2011-2012. Hailing back to her Broadway roots, she next jumped to the recurring character of Daisy Parker in Smash, the TV series about the behind-the-scenes drama of putting on a Broadway show. The talented thespian also took on parts as Charlie in Hustling from 2012-2014, in Taxi Brooklyn and The Good Wife in 2014, and reunited with her Smash co-star Debra Messing in The Mysteries of Laura in 2015. She landed the recurring role of Samantha in FBI from 2019-2021, and the very important role of Simone in Prodigal Son in 2019—important because she’s wearing merry widow lingerie, garters, and a mesmerizing amount of cleavage.
