Are you a fan of the Olympics and Levi’s jeans? Then you may know Lia Chang without even knowing it. She appeared as the sexy Asian girl in the Levi’s 501 black-and-white music video ads running on the boob tube during the 1984 Summer Olympics. Feel your jeans getting tighter? She hasn’t worked much onscreen, though she is a regular in the New York theater community. Lia debuted in The Last Dragon (1985) and continued in Big Trouble in Little China (1986), but it was with the horror spoof Frankenhooker (1990) that she got her most skinful--not nude, but very sexy in some skimpy underwear. Lia continued to make cameos in cult movies such as King of New York (1990) and New Jack City (1991), but if she wants viewers to jack off to her--and why wouldn’t she?--then Lia better reexamine her wholesome priorities.
