Lana Condor was born in Can Tho, Vietnam and adopted as an infant by American parents. The gorgeous girl spent her early years in Chicago before moving to Washington. At the age of seven, Lana took her first dance class and fell in love with it. She attended a performing arts high school and studied at the Spectrum Dance Theater in Seattle. At the age of 11 she and her family moved to New York where Lana started training in ballet. With some encouragement from her parents, she started taking acting classes and spent a summer studying at the New York Film Academy. The hard work paid off because Lana’s first paying acting gig came when she landed the role of Jubilee in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). She got the news while in history class at college. While she still loves dance and credits ballet for helping her become comfortable in her own skin, her focus has been on acting. Since the X-men she has appeared in a few movies as well as a couple of TV series including doing a voice for the popular Netflix series BoJack Horseman.
