Model-turned-actress Kelly Harrison had her acting premiere in the movie Dream (2001), at age 21, where she played Emma, a 16-year old girl. She also nabbed the role of Nikki Marshall on Casualty from 2001-2004, a part she played for over 112 episodes of the long-running popular series. Ooops, sorry—Mr. Skin forgot to mention she was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England—which makes that popular series only popular in the UK. As for what she’s been in that you might have seen in the States, Mr. Skin can only offer up Woody Allen’s You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger (2010) with Anthony Hopkins and Naomi Watts, and Upstairs (2009) with Luke Perry, a film that was strangely produced by Germany (Are they big fans of Dylan? Is Mr. Skin missing something?). She had the small part of a personal trainer in Allen’s flick, and the part of Grace Stearn with Perry. But in the UK? That’s where Kelly really shines, claiming her fame on television. She’s only been in one TV movie, Marian, Again (2005), stripping down to her just her panties as Marian herself, but she’s been in over 29 series and a total of over 230 episodes. Big roles include Cassidy in Goldplated in 2006, Ros Cawood in Happy Valley in 2014, Delia Bradley in The Level in 2016, and Elsa Tilsley in Coronation Street from 2018-2019. She’s also the voice of Belle, the Sound Neuron, lending her acting chops to the animated series Nina and the Neurons in 2007, then a slew of other Nina and the Neurons programs, including Go Eco! in 2008, Go Engineering and Earth Explorers in 2013, Get Sporty and Go Digital in 2014, and Get Building in 2015.
