Joie Addison Nude

Brief Nudity

Joie Addison never quite made it into the upper echelons of the cinematic world. However before her departure, she gifted us with two films that are more than worth a look. Her debut performance was in the 1970 Allen Funt production What Do You Say to a Naked Lady?, which was basically a feature length version of the same thing as his Candid Camera TV series except these secretly taped encounters all involved our favorite subject: female nudity in some aspect or another. Funt provided the viewer with many full-frontal views of several actors and actresses, including Joie and was severely punished for it by the people-with-celluloid-cutting-scissors-who-have-more-rights-to-our-own-thoughts-than-we-do- ourselves, with an X-rating for an otherwise innocent if not quite wholesome flick. The only other film that Joie appeared in was Sweet Savior in the following year, which was also rated X but for altogether different reasons; it was basically about the Manson Family and the harsh rating resulted from all the gore involved in telling the tale of the gruesome murders of actress Sharon Tate and her friends. It was a bit more than the censors back in 1971 could stomach. We at Skin Central always say, make love not gore...movies that is!
