Jewel (2022)

The Netflix original South African film Jewel (2022) centers around white photojournalist Tyra (Michelle Botes) and her journey to a memorial erected in the remote jungle honoring the victims of a real event known as the Sharpeville Massacre. While visiting the village, she finds her gaze and her camera drawn to a local woman named Siya (Nqobile Khumalo). As they are drawn to one another, first by their mutual attraction, but then by a shared trauma, the two women begin a journey toward a deep and meaningful relationship. Sadly they never get down to, you know, getting down, but there is a steamy sapphic smooch between Michelle Botes and Nqobile Khumalo, plus Nqobile sports a flimsy white dress with nothing underneath, clearly showing off her breasts!
