Jerry Maguire (1996)

Cameron Crowe’s cinematic hit Jerry Maguire (1996) proves the world of professional sports and pro sports agents is a milieu of big bucks and vast celebrity. Naturally, the most attractive women in the universe gravitate to this world. Obviously, this bodes well for the film’s titular character (Tom Cruise) and audiences everywhere. Like Mr. Maguire, Mr. Skin was eager to view the boobs on a bevy of babes played by such starlets as Alison Armitage, Lucy Liu, Regina King, Bonnie Hunt, Ivana Miličević, Lisa Ann Hadley, Rebecca Rigg, Stacey Williams, and the late Kelly Preston. Sadly, only Ms. Preston bares her breasts during a sex scene. What a mamorable sight! Of course, the Oscar-nominated rom-com is much more a morality tale about integrity and loyalty than it is a flesh-filled farce. Nevertheless, we can’t forget our first impression of a braless ingénue named Renée Zellweger. Suffice it to say, she had us at hello! As feisty single mom Dorothy Boyd, the bouncy blonde snagged her man by movie’s end when he confesses, “You complete me.” Yet the plot’s true bond is of a deeply platonic variety, blossoming between conflicted sports agent Jerry and his only client — the big-mouthed football player Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding Jr.). Cuba scored an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his powerful portrayal which features the famous line “Show me the money!” But we think the movie could have added an Anatomy Award to its list of wins if Mr. Gooding shouted, “Show me the nudity!”
