Jemima Shore Investigates was a short-lived British crime-comedy that would be long forgotten if it wasn’t for the participation of two acclaimed actresses: Patricia Hodge and Lysette Anthony. However, even they couldn’t save this 1983 stinker from being cancelled after only 12 episodes. Based on the novels by Antonia Fraser and produced by the late Tim Aspinall, the story centred on TV host Jenima Shore (Hodge) who was not only of royal ancestry but moreover an occasional private investigator. As a result we learned about Jenima’s highly interesting (and undoubtedly original) adventures. In terms of nudity, forget it, but supporting actress Lysette Anthony is a proud member of Mr. Skin’s Hall of Fame and has been naked in almost everything she ever did. For an excellent look at Lysette’s sweet mini-rack and her extremely furry snatch get your hands on the British productions The Advocate and especially Looking for Eileen.
