Cuban American writer, comedian, and actress Janine Brito is sure to leave a big smile on your face. She was born in Florida like so many good Cuban American girls, but went to grade school abroad and only spoke Spanish before kindergarten. She returned to the states and became a prominent member of the San Francisco comedy scene. She began her career by doing standup comedy and was hired to write for the show Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell in which she wrote on the staff for 26 episodes. After that she continued her writing career by writing on shows like One Day at a Time and Bless the Harts in which she also did voiceover work for various different characters. She has acted in the movie Wine Country (2019) as Kira, Mapleworth Murders (2020) as Junie, and Poor Little Rich Girl (2017) as a therapist just to name a few. Janine married her girlfriend, the former SNL writer and comedic goddess Paula Pell, making the two of them a hilarious lesbian power couple. In fact, the two of them appear in the show Girls5Eva as Caroline, Paula's former love with whom she is hoping to rekindle a romance. There is a music video daydream that Paula has in which she sings about her intentions to make their romance happen again and the pair go for walks together in the woods and even smooch.
