Born in Brooklyn to Guyanese and Ethiopian parents, the native New Yorker helped inner-city kids learn to dance via the National Dance Institute. Once the brainy beauty received her structural engineering degree from the City College of New York, she kicked off her modeling career with print gigs for L’Oreal Paris, Marshalls, and more. Jade then tried her hand at acting, appearing in short films as well as performing on stage in the musicals The Color Purple and Hair. She transitioned her talents to the boob-tube with guest spots on HBO’s High Maintenance (2012), Hulu’s Deadbeat (2014), and NBC’s Shades of Blue (2016). But Jade’s big break came when she landed one of the main roles in BBC America’s science-fiction detective series Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency (2016). As Farah Black, the ebony-skinned ingenue played a security officer with OCD—and T&A! Her rising star made our anatomy rise when she flashed her flesh in the Netflix series It’s Bruno! (2019). In the comedy about man’s best friend, we can see part of this woman’s unleashed puppies during a post-coital bit in bed. As the guy rolls off of her, there’s a near nip slip. Now, that’s enough to give a dude a bone! Even though it’s hard to top that scene, the arousing (albeit clothed) actress is turning viewers on as Lauren Turner in the Showtime drama Billions (2019-2020).
