If you’re a fan of the primetime sitcom The Goldbergs, the name Jackie Geary is familiar to you not only for her performance as Mrs. Geary/Lynn Geary in multiple episodes, but also because there’s a character named Jackie Geary in the sitcom, loosely based on the life of Adam Goldberg—who knew real-life Jackie when she was a teenager. How the world does go around! The brunette babe grew up in Port Jefferson, New York, went to Columbia for school, then packed up her Toyota and headed to Los Angeles to make her mark in show biz. And mark it she has, mostly on television, but with a few notable roles on the big screen as well. She played My Marcia in In Her Shoes (2005) with Cameron Diaz, bared her buns as Paige in Adam Rifkin’s Look (2007), starred as Cassie with her husband Jamison Haase in Miss Ohio (2009), and hung out with Channing Tatum in White House Down (2013), playing Jenna. Jackie’s leading series roles on the little screen included the parts of Jen in Jon and Jen Are Married from 2013-2014 (also with her hubby), and Amber Foley on Netflix series 13 Reasons Why from 2017-2018. But the long-limbed, thin-framed actress also had memorable short-term parts as Agent Susan Grady in NCIS in random episodes ranging from 2009-2013, Mrs. Evans in Suburgatory in 2012, Jackie Groves in How to Get Away with Murder in 2015, Tiffany James in Lucifer in 2018, and Laura in Tru TV’s Andrea Savage vehicle, I’m Sorry in 2020.
