Yesterday, British ingénue Isla Blair made her screen debut in The Beatles musical A Hard Day’s Night (1964). Alas, the lass’s bit part was cut out. But Isla got back up on the proverbial horse and appeared in the chiller dillers Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors (1965) and Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970). In between, she could be seen on the small screen as a series regular in The Liars (1966) and per her recurring role in The Dickie Henderson Show (1968). The boob tube babe revealed her range in the NBC soap opera The Doctors (1970-1971), the BBC historic drama Boat Comes In (1976-1977), the sci-fi series Blake’s 7, and the British sitcom The Bounder (1982-1983). Although Isla lent her sexy presence to television shows (The Avengers, Dr. Who, The Crezz), miniseries (The Final Cut, Alexa) and TV movies (The Beggar’s Opera), she also popped up in first release films. Look for her in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), Treasure Island (1990), and Johnny English Reborn (2011).
