You’re probably thinking Mr. Skin inserted the “af” into actress Helena af Sandeberg’s name—as in, this girl is hot af—but really, it’s just a Swedish thing. And you should be glad this flaxen-haired fox was born and raised in Stockholm, because they’re much less freaky about nudity over there than they are here in the US. Which translates to Helena being 100 percent naked as Lilia in the film Virus au paradis (2003), with flashes of her bush, and nipples so big, they make pencil erasers look tiny. She does it all again in Kim Novak badade aldrig I Genesaret’s sjö (2005), aka Kim Novak Never Swam in Genesaret’s Lake, where her character Ewa Kaludis rides a guy and we get the benefit of seeing her naked form in the throes of ecstasy. Easily her most impressive roles, as far as Mr. Skin is concerned, but by no means her only two. The actress is quite prolific and popular in her native Sweden, and has conquered both television and the movies. A few of her more well-known movies include In Bed with Santa (1999) as Marika, Lasse Hallström’s The Hypnotist (2012) as Daniella, playing Sofia in Nobody Could Be Happier (2018), Nadescha Nilsson in Swoon (2019), and Weddings, Funerals and Baptisms – The Movie (2021). On TV, she gained fans playing Louise Calling in The Shipping Company from 1997-1998, as Sanna in Cheers Björn in 2002, playing Anna Sjöstedt in Innocently Convictedfrom 2008-2009, as Eriksson in the mini-series Death of a Pilgrim (2013), and as Johanna in Finest Familyfrom 2016-2019. Mr. Skin didn’t make up the “af,” but it’s a stroke of genius that it’s there.
