A South African couple finds their fairy-tale marriage ripped apart by powers from beyond the grave in the eerie domestic horror movie Ghost Son (2006). Following a whirlwind courtship, Mark (John Hannah) and Stacey (Laura Harring) retire to a rural South African farm to live out their days in quiet happiness. Fate has other plans, however, as Mark’s life is cut prematurely short by a car accident. Still reeling from the tragedy, Stacey is horrified to discover that she’s become pregnant many months after her husband’s death. With no other lovers in her life, the only explanation Stacey can find is that her husband’s ghost has discovered some way to satisfy his carnal urges.
