With a fetching face, curly hair and a great big pair of bedroom eyes, it’s no surprise the exotic hottie lent her sizzling presence to skinema. Born in Albania, the gorgeous girl moved to Perugia with her Italian parents. There, she was discovered by master auteur Federico Fellini while competing in a dance contest. The well-built beauty began her career as a body double before scoring an uncredited role in 002 Operation Moon (1965). Francesca didn’t show her moon then, but would in time! First, the scorching ingénue had to land her big break in the romantic comedies Serafino (1969) and Come Have Coffee with Us (1970), for which she won a Nastro d’Argento Award for Best Supporting Actress. Luckily for audience members everywhere, the esteemed performer proceeded to pop up in racy romps. In 1972, the stacked starlet showed off her range by appearing in the X rated dramedy Le Sex Shop; the R rated thriller The Italian Connection; and the PG rated western Sting of the West. Breast of all was her topless turn in the fleshy farce La Compagna di banco (1977) wherein Francesca treats us to peeks at her naked peaks and panty-clad butt cheeks! Alas, Signora Romana Coluzzi passed away in 2009. But she leaves behind a luscious legacy on film (Red Sonja) and on TV (Rome, Professione vacanze). Arrivederci, baby.
