Dudley

Only one of several failed TV projects for English funnyman Dudley Moore, this one starred Joanna Cassidy as the mumble-mouthed chap’s long-suffering wife and Lupe Ontiveros as their maid Marta. (A Hispanic woman as the maid! How novel.) Anyway, I totally forget what this one was about, as A) Dudley had about four crappy sitcoms every three years, and B) this one was canceled after 5 episodes. Moore did lots of great comedy in his time; there’s no reason to sully his memory by recalling all these horrible sitcoms.
