Alternately witty and nasty British sitcom that focuses on two single gals who share a flat. Logically, most of their talk and problems revolve around ‘man problems’, though a few overdramatic mother figures also figure into the equation on a regular basis. Beatie Edney andHolly Aird strike a winning chemistry, and are attractive in that ‘normal gal’ way – two assets that allow one to easily overlook some of the show’s more low-minded shortcomings.
