The black and white German short film Detektive oder Die glücklosen Engel der inneren Sicherheit (2006), or Detectives or the hapless angel of internal security is probably most famous to American audiences for featuring Martin Wuttke, the guy who played Hitler in Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds (2009)! As far as the plot goes, that's a much more dicey proposition, and involves all manner of strange existential questions being posed in the guise of a film noir parody.
