Daisy Jones & the Six (2023)

Based on a bestselling novel about the rise and fall of a fictional 1970’s band, this musical Amazon Prime series is set up like a documentary many years after the fact, with confessional interviews of the characters interspersed between flashbacks of their story. The Dunne Brothers, Billy (Sam Claflin) and Graham (Will Harrison) and friends take their garage band from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles where they will eventually meet British keyboardist Karen Sirko (Suki Waterhouse) and the titular songstress (Riley Keough, herself a descendant of rock royalty) and form Daisy Jones & The Six. The band’s personal and professional essence, as well as their eventual conflicts, is supposedly based on Fleetwood Mac, but the truth is this is a tale as old as time, steeped with the creative differences, power struggles, substance abuse, and love triangles rock and roll is known for. Camilla Morrone displays her ample cleavage as Billy’s photographer girlfriend (and eventually his wife) who moves with the band from Pittsburgh while Riley shows a bit of backside and sideboob while schtupping her real-life husband! The ladies of the Six will have you sprouting six extra inches!
