Deftly written and impressively mounted, Canada’s Da Vinci’s Inquest showcases a strong lead performance by Nicholas Campbell as a former cop turned introverted coroner. Avoiding the typical stereotypes that you’d expect in a distant cousin of Quincy, the show is more a moody character study than a series of predictable whodunits.
