Culte (2024-2025)

This Amazon Prime drama starts with producers Raphaël Dumas (César Domboy) and Philippe Palazzo (Nicolas Briançon) selling their concept for France’s first reality TV show to Christian de Chaunac (Philippe Lefebvre), president of the channel M6. In a mere four months, the duo - along with the ambitious Isabelle de Rochechouart (Anaïde Rozam) and Karim Chedira (Sami Outalbali) - create Loft Story, where eleven 25-year-old, attractive singles—6 men, 5 women—live in a “loft” together for eleven weeks. Inspired by the hit Dutch series Big Brother, the contestants are watched 24/7 via cameras and mirrored one-way windows placed throughout the loft as they look for love amongst their housemates while also competing for approval of the audiences at home. One of the most tantalizing performances is from Marie Colomb playing real life contestant Loana Petrucciani, who was involved in some of the biggest, sexiest moments of the original series back in 2001. She’s seen twirling her hips in a pair of pasties and pole dancing in tight red latex, and we also get Anaïde breathlessly riding a guy while watching TV. But Louise Greggory is the only one to go full on topless as a sex worker who spends the night with an older man. Consider us new members of the cult of Culte!
