A magical remote control allows Adam Sandler to rearrange his life to his liking in the fanciful existential comedy Click (2006). Sandler plays a work-obsessed father who buys a universal remote from mad scientist Christopher Walken that allows him to fast-forward, rewind, and pause his own life at any time. At first the delighted protagonist uses his newfound powers to pull pranks and position himself for big windfalls. He quickly realizes, however, that the device’s real benefit comes in allowing him to savor the moments he’d grown accustomed to missing. Like women undressing, for example. Ireesha, Michelle Lombardo, and Sophie Monk are three put-together blondes who look best with the pause button on.
