Biography

The daughter of Rwandan exiles, this Brussels-born beauty once dreamed of opening a bakery, but thankfully after studying at the National Conservatory of Theater and Dance, she’d go on to pursue a career that would lead to us seeing her bouncy biscuits on screen instead. She began performing on stage in plays like The Trojan Women by Euripides and The Ghost Man by Kay Adshead, but would eventually transition to film and television. In 2005, after starring in the drama Sometimes in April, about the Rwandan genocide, she decided to reconnect with her family’s roots and relocate to Kigali. A year later, Carol and even other women established the Ishyo Arts Center in Kigali, which did not have a theatre until then. After filming another starring role in 2007’s Juju Factory, Carol was featured in Black, a 2009 crime drama about a Senegalese bank robber trying and failing to live his life on the straight and narrow. Her sweaty sex scene in the film marked Carol’s nudecomer debut, introducing audiences to her amazing African mounds. Since then her only project appears to be the short film Knocking on Heaven’s Door which she also produced. Hopefully she has plans to return to the screen and produce her perfect pair once again!
