This Canadian charmer landed her first film role, the leading part in writer-director Luis De Filippis’ indie Something You Said Last Night (2022), after being spotted in a local grocery store. De Filippis was having a hard time finding trans talent to play Ren in the dramedy, and ended up casting Carmen, who had no previous acting experience, though you would never know it from her breakthrough performance. The film takes place during a family vacation by a lake, so that means plenty of bikini scenes for Carmen, plus a slightly undressed moment with on-screen sister Paige Evans in the bathtub that’ll have you rub-a-dub-dubbing yourself!
