Red-haired hottie Camryn Grimes has been hanging around your television since she was six-years old, starring in toy commercials, and originating the role of Cassie in the daytime drama The Young and the Restless in 1997. When she was eight, and again when she was nine, she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series, and in 2000, she won it. When her character was killed in a car crash in 2010, Camryn took a break from the soap opera, but returned in “visions,” and as a “lookalike” in 2013-2014. Then in 2014, she returned to the daytime drama to play Mariah, the twin sister of her original character Cassie (they don’t call it a drama for no reason). All told, Camryn has been on The Young and the Restless for over 1,000 episodes, from 1997-2021. Oh, and she also took home another Daytime Emmy for the show, this one for Best Supporting Actress in 2018. Meanwhile, the toy commercials went away, and Camryn started appearing in adult roles, playing a celebrating birthday girl in the Hollywood hit film Magic Mike (2012) with Channing Tatum; turning up in guest roles on Ghost Whisperer, Cold Case, NCIS: Los Angeles, The Mentalist, and NCIS; and in the role of pregnant Amy in the TV movie The Gets (2017) with Claire Forlani and Amy Brennaman. A graduate of the Lee Strasberg Film and Theater Institute in New York City, she went really adult and sexy playing Jasmine in the TNT series Animal Kingdom, a stripper with a heart of gold...those are the best ones.
