Bob and Ray

Chances are you don’t know this show, let alone remember it. Essentially you needed to be watching TV in America in 1951, which most people weren’t doing. The Bob and Ray Show, which was a radio staple from 1946 until 1987, was inducted into the US Radio Hall of Fame in 1995. This show was the TV version of same, which ran from 1951 to 1953. Hosted by Bob Elliott (whose last on screen appearance was 1994’s Cabin Boy) and Ray Goulding (who passed away in 1990), it also featured former Miss America Cloris Leachman and Audrey Meadows as regular contributors.
