Big Sky (2020-2021)

Television producer extraordinaire David E. Kelley (Doogie Howser, Ally McBeal, Boston Legal) went up to Montana for the series Big Sky in 2020! Based on a series of books known as The Highway Series by C.J. Box, the show follows private investigators and romantically linked partners Cassie (Kylie Bunbury) and Cody (Ryan Phillippe) when they take a case to find a pair of sisters who were kidnapped by a long haul truck driver (Brian Geraghty) in Montana. Upon arriving in the girls' hometown, they discover that Cody's ex wife Jenny (Katheryn Winnick) is the sheriff in town and the unlikely trio must now unite to get to the bottom of the kidnapping. Evidence soon presents itself that this wasn't this truck driver's first kidnapping and that they're now in a race against time to get these sisters away from a burgeoning serial killer, who may already be on to scouting out his next victim. Through a series of twists and turns, the case turns out to involve a conspiracy bigger than any of them may have first suspected, with a dubious Highway Patrol Officer (John Carroll Lynch) suspected of being part of this trucker's crime spree. The show is a great whodunit kind of mystery series, but being a primetime ABC network television program, one can't go in expecting a lot of skin. Katheryn Winnick kicks off season two topless in bed with a guy, but we can clearly see her wearing a privacy patch over her left nipple as they canoodle in bed! When it comes to nudity, Big Sky gets a Big Zero!
