Barbora Polakova was born in Germany but has lived most of her life in the Czech Republic. After high school, she attended a performing arts college. On the recommendations of her professors, she was then accepted as a member of the Theater in Vinohrady. Showing off her singing chops in musicals, she ended up recording and releasing a few different songs including one that became a modest hit in her country. As her acting resume on stage and screen grew she was invited on the Czech version of Dancing with the Stars where she finished in fourth place.
