Amy Tolsky is an accomplished actress known for her diverse range of skills on stage and screen. Born in the South Side of Chicago, she developed a passion for acting during her high school years and pursued a BFA in Theater from the University of Illinois. After traveling to London with a working visa, Amy spent thirteen years building her career in the UK, performing with Absolute Theatre Company, singing in indie and a capella groups, and pursuing a part-time career in voice-over work. She starred in several plays and TV shows, including The Pistols and Jeeves and Wooster, and was also a presenter on several BBC World Service music radio programs. After returning to the US, Amy continued her successful acting career with appearances in over 50 television shows, including Black-ish, Speechless, and skin favorite Shameless, as well as several feature films such as The Tiger Hunter and Please Stand By.
