Alonna started out down the long and lonely road to Skindom in 1988 when she won a single-episode gig on the former hit series Miami Vice. Shortly thereafter, she landed a part in the made-for-TV movie The Take… things were looking up.After a few more guest spots on series like Superboy, All My Children and B.L. Stryker, Alonna won the role of a lifetime in 1990’s King of New York opposite the likes of Christopher Walken and Lawrence Fishburne, among a host of other Hollywood notables. So what happened the following year? For some reason, Alonna, who was still riding the crest of the critically acclaimed King, took a gig in the Jean-Claude Van Damme action-flick Double Impact. Now, we know ol’ J.C. was hot back in the early-1990s but… COME ON! Well, at least Alonna pulled her perfect and plump pimples out for the part. She flashed some repeat-teat again a few years later in the only “cyborg-action” flick that Van Damme wasn’t in, Cyborg Cop. How odd.Alonna’s career took a bit of a downward turn after that but with a few more episodic gigs on shows like Diagnosis Murder and The Drew Carey Show in recent years, we’re hoping she’ll be making a triumphant return to the Skinema pretty soon!
