Godfather of Harlem (2019-2025)

The Epix crime series Godfather of Harlem (2019) follows notorious real-life gangster Bumpy Johnson (Forest Whitaker) who rises through the mob ranks in Harlem during the 1960s to eventually take his place as the titular character. After being in prison for a decade, Bumpy returns to his home in Harlem in 1960 to find his neighborhood in disarray, with the Gambino crime family having come into the predominantly black neighborhood and taken it over for themselves. This puts Bumpy on a collision course with Gambino enforcer Vinny "The Chin" Gigante (Vincent D'Onofrio), the man currently in charge of the neighborhood. Bumpy soon finds himself in an uneasy alliance with religious leader Malcolm X (Nigel Thatch) in order to restore the neighborhood they both love to its halcyon days. With attacks coming at him from all sides, Bumpy soon gets a solid footing and begins taking over the neighborhood... or at least the parts not controlled by the Gambinos. The show is, unsurprisingly, more focused on action and intrigue than it is on nudity, though you shouldn't overlook the handful of knockout nude scenes the show has delivered over the course of its first two seasons! Following a skinless pilot, the second episode got some skin in the game as Marie Rose Baramo bared her breasts while dancing topless! Milagros Laura Simon kept the trend going in episode six by going topless in front of D'Onofrio. Season two took a while to heat up, but episode three brought a double dose of hot topless ladies with both Michaela Marymor and Lauren Renahan! Godfather of Harlem will turn you into a Harlem Globe-spotter!
