Bigfoot Famous (2021)

Written, created, directed by, and starring several members of the Los Angeles based comedy troupe The Groundlings, Bigfoot Famous (2021) takes aim at several subcultures all at once. The film centers around a disgraced social media influencer named Coley Withers (Stephanie Barkley) who has slowly but surely seen her loyal following dwindle after a series of manufactured bits and fake crises. While trying to figure out how she's going to mount a comeback, her most loyal friend Jericho (Sam Milman) shows her a video of a Bigfoot sighting that has garnered millions of views on social media. After noticing that the video was filmed close to her own home, Coley becomes convinced that if she can venture into the woods and land an exclusive interview with the elusive cryptozoological entity, she's going to be back on top of the social media influencing world. After meeting up with self proclaimed Bigfoot expert Marty (Chris Kleckner), she pays him to be her guide and help her find Bigfoot. However, the only thing he helps them do is get lost immediately, where they end up in mortal danger for the next several days. If you're looking for a send up of our current social media influencer climate, this flick is guaranteed to deliver the laughs you're seeking. However, if you're looking for a flick full of nudity, this just ain't it. Steph Barkley is undeniably sexy and she shows plenty of cleavage in a variety of sexy outfits, but any actual nude scenes are about as scarce in this movie as Bigfoot is in the real world
