After earning a degree in Chinese literature from Hunan Normal University, the brainy beauty attended Communication University of China while working as a host on Guangdong Television. But since her great looks were made for the big screen, Yan made the move to movies per the supernatural flick Painted Skin (2008). The ambitious ingenue proceeded to land roles in a variety of genres. She made the chiller diller The Incredible Truth (2012); the fantasy Mural (2011); the rom-coms Marry a Perfect Man (2012), Ex-Files (2014) and See You Tomorrow (2016); the black comedy An Inspector Calls (2015); the marital arts movie Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy (2018); and the romantic drama My Dear Liar (2019) for which she was named Best Actress at the Macau International Movie Festival. But here at Skin Central, we’re partial to her part (or rather, her bikini-clad parts) in Badges of Fury (2013) since the action comedy has Yan flaunting her fab figure in sexy swimwear.
