White Lies (2024)

The late 2024 miniseries White Lies takes us into the seedy underbelly of life in Cape Town, South Africa. Investigative journalist Edie Hanson (Natalie Dormer) is lured to the wealthy Cape Town suburb of Bishopscourt where her estranged brother was found murdered in his home. Not only does she run into interference from her brother's family, she also finds herself in constant conflict with homicide detective Forty Bell (Brendon Daniels). When Edie's teenage niece and nephew are named the prime suspects in the case, things get even more complicated! Though Natalie Dormer is no stranger to going nude on screen, she manages to keep covered up for the most part in this series. Thankfully co-star Chi Mhende delivers some terrific T'n'A during a flashback scene in the show's second episode!
