This week saw the release of yet another version of the story of Carmen, most famously immortalized in the 1875 opera by composer Georges Bizet and the subject of countless adaptations since.
This newest iteration is another musical one, though with tunes by Nicholas Britell instead, that stars Mexican marvel Melissa Barrera as the titular siren. The setting is moved to Los Angeles by way of the Texas-Mexico border where her Don Jose is in the form of a border patrol volunteer (Paul Mescal) who ends up saving her life.

And as the story goes, the two strike up a passionate affair, culminating in a motel sex scene starring Melissa’s magnificent mams! But despite two other skintimate scenes, that’s the most Melissa Barrera nude we get.

We here at Mr. Skin couldn’t help but wonder how this Carmen stacks up to the other Carmens on the site.
Well, three out of the four other Carmens we found boast phenomenal full nudity from its main character.In 1983, noted French filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard made his own version the romantic drama called First Name Carmen starring Maruschka Detmers and her boobs, butt, and thick bush.

And speaking of thick bushes, Paz Vega busts out her own furry beav in a Spanish version of Carmen from 2003. Going nude for seven skinsational scenes, Paz may get the award for Least Covered Carmen!

Then in 2011, another adaptation from France was released on television starring Vicky Luengo as the lusty leading lady. She goes topless during a montage of different lovers but sadly the camera doesn’t go south of the border.

Journalist Jason Flatt even goes so far as to put the 1986 documentary Kamikaze Hearts in the Carmen category, which stars adult actress Sharon Mitchell as an enigmatic exhibitionist who becomes the object of desire of the more reserved, and somewhat jealous, Tigre.

Looks like the story of Carmen goes hand-in-hand - and maybe some other body parts as well - with lots of hot hot nudity!
