Weird Science is the TV series that came almost a decade after the movie of the same name that perhaps most perfectly crystallized that moment in the 1980s when the geek was king. While in the original the nerds make the perfect woman played perfectly by Kelly Le Brock, who doesn’t revive her enliven performance here, but the producers cast the next best thing in Vanessa Angel, who is the perfect formula for masturbation. The series was able to maintain the story line from 1994 to 1998, and yet over all those years they weren’t able to show Vanessa naked? That’s not weird, it’s crazy.
