Submission (2016)

When even Showtime calls it a "late night series," you know you're in for something very, very special. Submission (2016) is a six-episode mini-series that aired on the cable network, picking up where 50 Shades of Grey left off in terms of mainstream BDSM fare — except this time, what we're seeing is far more accurate. Helmed by adult film director Jacky St. James and featuring a hybrid cast of both adult and mainstream performers, it tells the story of Ashley, a woman who ended a relationship because she was so sexually bored.
