Our Staff Picks column takes you back to a time when video stores reigned supreme and the "Staff Picks" section was the place to find out what films were worthy of one's time. Of course, our version of Staff Picks has a decidedly skintillating angle, as we suss out which films from a particular subgenre are the best to find great nudity. This week let's cover one of the absolute sexiest tropes in filmmaking: female bosses.
A female boss is a character, not a genre, but it is an exciting trope of a character because they tend to be confident women who naturally exude sexiness. They also are sometimes portrayed as femme fatales. Who doesn't love a femme fatale? Whether these babes in charge are powerful and inspiring girlbosses or villains hellbent on making their employees' lives hell, these movies all have one thing in common: a sexy female boss at the core of the cast.

Network
Faye Dunaway plays the icy new executive making men at the TV network go mad because she wants to make changes that bring the news network's ratings up and she looks skintastic in and out of a powersuit. The film may be most famous for William Holden being mad as hell and not taking it anymore, but I love this film for Faye Dunaway getting as fed up with her own clothes.
In a shadowy scene, she shows off her wonderfully perky breasts in profile! That will get the ratings up...and pants up, too.
Disclosure
This is an interesting erotic thriller because it falls dead in the middle of the 90s erotic thriller trend, but it doesn't actually contain nudity. Instead, famous brunette maven Demi Moore plays a domineering boss who shows off her cleavage but keeps her bra on. That alone can torture the men who work for her!
This film really played into fears of an emasculating boss and it gets a bit off-the-rails, but Demi is undeniably hot. Her cleavage will give you a raise.
Horrible Bosses (1 and 2)
Jennifer Aniston really shocked the world with her cut-throat, hilarious, and overtly sexual character in Horrible Bosses. As one of the titular Horrible Bosses, Jen An is everyone's worst nightmare as a boss. She doesn't know boundaries, she likes being in charge, and it's actually kind of sexy. She never goes nude, but in the sequel, she does show her ass in security cam footage.
It is likely a body double, but she otherwise does wear a sheer bra that will get your pants promoted.
Working Girl
Leave it to the 80s to really revel in the women-at-work genre (the decade gave us 9 to 5, after all) This film is jam-packed with 1988's hottest honeys taking care of business with their clothes on and off. Sigourney Weaver is a boss who breaks her leg while on vacation and has to trust her secretary, played by Melanie Griffith, to take care of things at work. And she does!
Melanie goes wonderfully topless a couple of times - from sex scenes to vacuuming topless with a thong and heels on, Melanie knows how to get things together and look good while doing it. She is downright sexy!
She's not the only one. The other women at work are working it on camera such as Elizabeth Whitcraft who is clearly taking dictation.
