The sisters at the center of the feud are Perla (Ana Serradilla) and Antonia Guerra (Claudia Álvarez), who go well past typical sibling rivalry and devolve into cruelty and psychological warfare to get revenge on each other. Born into a wealthy but corrupt family, eldest sister Antonia was all set to marry rich mining tycoon Bernardo when she discovers Bernardo and Perla in the throws of passion on the day of the wedding. While the sisters argue in limo, it crashes and Antonia is hurt and pronounced infertile. She still wants to have kids so she demands that Perla be her surrogate and when Perla refuses, she has Bernado assault her to get her pregnant. She has the baby, a girl named Jacinta, and tries to run but encounters Bernardo, who tells Perla that Jacinta died so Antonia can raise her. But wait, it gets worse - Antonia actually gives up trying to raise her and puts her in an orphanage, exchanging her for a boy named Pedro. The story then fast forwards thirteen years in the future as Pedro and Jacinta hook up (in that way, yes) and start to put together the pieces of their family’s past. Neither sister strips down fully, but we do catch Claudia in some sexy underwear and spy a strategically covered nip on Ana during a sex scene. Ana Valeria Becerril (simultaneously starring in another Mexican series, the Max adaptation of Like Water For Chocolate) also pops her top as the older Jacinta, almost flashing funbag while wading in a lake. If only they tried to settle this feud in the nude!
