B-level bad asses Dolph Lundgren and Brandon Lee play two Los Angeles career cops, with a pretty quirky personality difference in Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991). Lee is Johnny Murata, the wisecracking weirdo who is Japanese in ethnicity but all American in action and attitude, since he doesn't care all that much about the place his ancestors are from. Meanwhile, the sort of stoic Chris Kenner (Dolph Lundgren) is as white as you could get, but was raised in Japan and has a deep appreciation of its culture and customs. Teamed together to investigate some Yakuza killings in Little Tokyo, they grudgingly form an unlikely and invigorating bond while chasing after a gang of marauding drug lords. Eventually they team with lounge singer Minako Okeya (Tia Carrere) to take down crmie kingpin Funekei Yoshida (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa), but this one's all about the laughs and the butt kicking. Both men are master martial artists, which leads to tons of hand to hand combat, but this action comedy became a cult classic due to it's wacky dialogue. Perhaps you've seen the infamous viral scene where in the middle of a gunfight Johnny Murata casually quips "Kenner, just in case we get killed, I wanted to tell you, you have the biggest dick I've ever seen on a man." No matter what kind of heat you're packing, it'll be growing a whole lot bigger seeing the sexy women of Little Tokyo. Tia Carrere used a body double for her T&A, but that double is Miss Tera Tabrizi, who's body is off the heezy fa sheezy. She's the one flashing all three B's as she rides Dolph's apparenty absurdly large dick, as well as when she goes topless at a pool party. But if you're a gentleman that prefers blondes, it's Renee Allman who you'll want to see doing her man. She slips her top off and turns around expecting some doggy, only to get her head lopped off with a katana. Could've done that after boning her. Just saying. In a world of Lethal Weapon (1987) knockoffs, this one had the guts to be quirky, and weird. Plus, it's a kick in the pants when those ladies show their stuff in Showdown in Little Tokyo!
