Finnish actress Saara Kotkaniemi decided to focus on academics before acting, going to college and getting her Masters degree. While in college, she studied drama and acting and quickly fell in love with it, Saara’s big break came when she landed a part on the popular TV series Downshiftaajat which helped launch her career and led to several more roles in movies and TV. She speaks Finnish and English which has allowed her to branch out and work in some Hollywood productions as well as projects throughout Europe.
