A dastardly lawyer deals with problems both professional and personal on Rake. Cleaver Greene (Richard Roxburgh) is a successful lawyer with a number of vices, namely gambling, cocaine, and sex. He keeps his train wreck of a personal life somewhat under control with regular visits to his shrink, Wendy (Caroline Brazier), who also happens to be his ex-wife and mother of his son. Cleaver's cases involve odd murders, tax evasion, swingers, and sexual taboos, but he still finds time to woo his legal student, former prostitute Missy (Adrienne Pickering). Supporting cast members Adrienne Pickering and Danielle Cormack get sexy for this Australian series, but only svelte blonde Lisa McCune flashes some real flesh. Playing a client charged with jury tampering, Lisa displays her delicate dumplings in a variety of bedroom scenes. Those legal briefs are sure to have you boning up on your penal code!
